Edgar Sandoval is a professional violinist born, raised, and living in Los Angeles, California. He has recorded and performed with musical legends of most genres. He began playing the piano at the age of 8 and later found a true love for the violin at 11. His most revered orchestral performances include the baton of John Williams, Kent Nagano, and Michael Tilson-Thomas. While a member of the Debut Orchestra and American Youth Symphony from 2005-2010, he had the privilege of performing with world-class soloist's Lynn Harrell, Sir James Galway, Sarah Chang, and Elizabeth Pitcairn. He also has performed and recorded with major musical artist's such as Lady Gaga, Dr. Dre, Deadmau5, Aloe Blacc, One Republic, The Foo Fighters, P. Diddy, Nile Rodgers, Raphael Saadiq, Marco Antonio Solis, Burt Bacharach, Marvin Hamlisch, and Natalie Cole. In his spare time, Edgar enjoys working as a composer, music producer, arranger, and music educator.
Edgar received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Violin Performance from California State University Northridge in 2008 and is currently in progress of completing his Master of Music in Violin Performance from California State University Northridge as well. He currently plays on an 1885 Riccardo Antoniazzi violin made in Milan, Italy.
